What it means to be Successful.

I was successful in sports.The sport that I was successful in was softball.I was successful because I played really well and helped out when it was needed.I was also successful in Mathematics because I tried to learn new things and tried really hard in the exams.I was also successful in making it to class on time and worked really hard to finish my work to the best of my ability.For me to be successful in school I need to increase my focus to 75% and reduce my distraction to at least 25%.

Lasagna

Lasagna

Boil lasagna in two cups of water and wait until it is soft.While you wait you dice half an onion and some garlic and fry until cook.Once the Lasagna is boiling you then drain it and run under cold water.You add sauce to the onion and garlic then mix in and add lasagna. Taste then add salt if needed.After all that hard work you could then sit down and enjoy some lasagna.

How does a bill become a law

In New Zealand there are many ways to lobby your government. To lobby your electorate MP you have to persuade your Electorate MP. One of the ways is sending a letter to the electorate MP. Your letter has to have what you want to change or what you want to have. 

When your electorate MP has it he\she takes it to the house of representatives and is then introduced. That is the first step of the Seven of how a bill becomes a law. The next step is going to the first reading. They read and/or listen to it and vote whether it should go to the next step or not. 

The next step is that it goes to the Select Committee. This is the only point where the public get to have a say in what they think about the bill.This step could take up to six months just to respond. The bill returns to the House of Representatives with the recommendations of the Select Committee. It then goes to the Committee of the whole house where the bill is broken into little pieces and debated piece by piece.This will be the last chance they get to change the law.

It then goes to the third reading and this is where they have the final debate.They do this and wonder what it would be like if the bill becomes a law.After they have debated then they would send it to the Governor General

If the Governor General likes it then she will sign it and then it is officially a law,but if it is not good then it would be sent back to them and then they would have to edit it and it would not be a law yet.

Tuna salad

In food tech today we made Pasta salad.
Things you need:
Pot(any size),One cup,Macaroni,Drainer,One onion,One capsicum,One tomato,Carrots,Two bowls to mix things in, a plate, serving spoon ,

Steps:
Boil macaroni in two and a half cups of water until its soft,
Then drain under cold water to cool,
Dice spring onions, Tomatoes, Red capsicum and carrots
Then mix everything together and serve

You then have yourself some tuna salad

We used potatoes,mince,bisto,onions,flour and oil

First we boiled potatoes in a pot until it was cooked

After peel the onion and put into a frying pan and fry with mince

Then add 1 cup of bisto and flour to the pan.

You then mix your potatoes with mayo but do not break the potatoes

You then serve it to whoever you want.

Food technology

Today in food tech we made blueberry muffins.We used 1 and 1/2 cup Self-rising flour,1/2 cup of sugar,1/2 cup of milk,1/2 cup of oil, 1 egg and blueberries.First we got all the dry ingredient and separated them from the wet.We then mixed them all together and put them into a muffin tray. We then baked the at 180 degrees. Then when the time came we enjoyed Some nice warm blueberry muffins.

 

Why is it important to have someone who makes decisions for people?

Because when there is a leader making a decision, everyone has their

own opinion and can be for or against.But without one everyone will be

lost and not know what to do which might bring tragedy to the country
because everyone is making their own choices for the world. This will

be bad because all the gangs will start fighting and having massive
shootouts and this could be dangerous for the little kids living in the

neighborhood. Another reason is because when refugees come to the

country they might struggle without assistance about how the country

works or how to get a job for food.Thanks to the Minister of

New Zealand
